Driver Verification System (DVS)

Useful information on DVS.

This is a great risk management tool that allows you to stay on top of driving records for those employees that drive on behalf of your company. Good drivers tend to have fewer accidents which equates to lower automobile insurance premiums.

What is DVS?

DVS gives employers the ability to track license statuses of your drivers/employees and receive email notifications from the RMV if there is a change in the license status at any time while they are enrolled in DVS.

The DVS program also allows you to request an Unattested Public Driving Record for any employee enrolled into the program. The Public Driving Record includes all surchargeable accidents, criminal and civil driving offenses for which a person was found either guilty or responsible, plus discretionary and administrative license suspension actions. This Public Driving Record file is in PDF format and requires Adobe Acrobat Reader which can be downloaded for free from Adobe.com.

How do I access the DVS Program?

The RMV’s eServices Portal facilitates individual users logging into a portal designed specifically for your business needs.

You will need to designate at least one eServices Administrator. The eService Administrator will maintain access for your End Users.

To start the process and register, click here.

Once your registration is processed, you will receive an email with additional documentation to complete and submit.
